Bread and mozzarella skewers
INGREDIENTS
- Slice bread
- Fresh mozzarella
- Cherry tomatoes
- Basil
- Eggs
- Flour
- Breadcrumbs
- Vegetable oil
- Skewer
METHOD
- Cut fresh mozzarella cheese into slices. Cut a slice of bread in 4.
- Place a slice of mozzarella on top of a quarter of the sliced bread, place another piece of bread on top and press down.
- Cover with flour, dip well in a beaten egg, and cover with breadcrumbs. Fry.
- Put a square on a skewer, followed by half a cherry tomato, and a basil leaf, and repeat until you have a skewer with 3 squares.
