Easy Shephereds Pie

A homey and comforting Shepherd's Pie. Cook ground beef and savory vegetables, top with mashed potatoes, and bake to perfection.

Ingredients:

Mashed Potato:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 115 g butter
  • 120 ml milk
  • 85 g creme
  • 75 g parmigiano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Meat Filling:

  • 6 champignons
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 large carrot
  • 2 rib celery
  • 4 cloves garlic sliced
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 6 oz bacon
  • 2 tbsps tomato paste
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp fresh rosemary
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 140 g frozen peas
  • 100 g parmigiano, grated
  • Bake at 375 F ( 180C ) for 20 minutes
