Cookies with brown sugar


  • 1 egg
  • 40g (1/4 cup) of sugar
  • 12g (1 tsp) of vanilla sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 150ml (1/2 cup) of kefir
  • 80ml (1/4 cup) of vegetable oil
  • 350g (2 3/4 cups) of flour
  • 5g (1 tsp) of baking powder
  • Brown sugar


  1. In a bowl add the eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, kefir, and vegetable oil, and mix. Add the baking powder and flour gradually and mix everything until the dough is created.
  2. Knead the dough until smooth and split in half. Thin each half and split it into the 7 parts.
  3. Create the balls from each part and dip the top part of each ball into the cane sugar.
  4. Transfer the cookies into the pan covered with parchment paper and cut the each cookies top part with the razor blade.
  5. Transfer the cookies into the oven and bake at 180°C/360°F for 20 minutes.
