Cabbage cutlets
So easy and delicious, everyone will love them! INGREDIENTS
- 1 large cabbage;
- 15 slices of ham;
- 10 slices of cheese;
- 150 g (1 cup) all-purpose flour;
- 4 large eggs;
- 240 g (2 cups) breadcrumbs;
- 45 g (½ cup) shredded parmesan;
- olive oil for frying.
METHOD
- Separate 5 large cabbage leaves from the stem and boils them in salted water under the lid for 6 minutes.
- Remove cabbage leaves onto a clean towel and gently put them dry.
- Place one cabbage leaf onto a cutting board and place 2 slices of cheese and 3 slices of ham in the middle. Roll carefully. Repeat with another 4 cabbage leaves.
- Whisk 4 eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper. Whisk breadcrumbs with parmesan cheese.
- Dredge cabbage rolls in flour, dip into beaten eggs, and cover in breadcrumbs.
- Fry cabbage cutlets in preheated olive oil for about 2 minutes per side or until golden and crunchy.
