Cabbage cutlets

So easy and delicious, everyone will love them! INGREDIENTS

  • 1 large cabbage;
  • 15 slices of ham;
  • 10 slices of cheese;
  • 150 g (1 cup) all-purpose flour;
  • 4 large eggs;
  • 240 g (2 cups) breadcrumbs;
  • 45 g (½ cup) shredded parmesan;
  • olive oil for frying.

METHOD

  1. Separate 5 large cabbage leaves from the stem and boils them in salted water under the lid for 6 minutes.
  2. Remove cabbage leaves onto a clean towel and gently put them dry.
  3. Place one cabbage leaf onto a cutting board and place 2 slices of cheese and 3 slices of ham in the middle. Roll carefully. Repeat with another 4 cabbage leaves.
  4. Whisk 4 eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper. Whisk breadcrumbs with parmesan cheese.
  5. Dredge cabbage rolls in flour, dip into beaten eggs, and cover in breadcrumbs.
  6. Fry cabbage cutlets in preheated olive oil for about 2 minutes per side or until golden and crunchy.
