Cauliflower gateau
This tasty recipe is a must-try recipe even if you're thinking cauliflower isn't for you!
INGREDIENTS
- 1,5kg of cauliflower
- 1,5l water
- 8 grams of salt
- 30 ml of milk
- 3 eggs
- 100g of potato starch
- 30ml of vegetable oil
- 1 onion
- 5 mushrooms
- 1 tomato
- 3 chili peppers
- 2 red bell peppers
- 1 carrot
- 50ml of vegetable oil
- 4g of mint
- 8g of chili powder
- 4g of salt
- 250g of stringy cheese
- 100g of parmesan
METHOD
- Boil the cauliflower in water with salt and milk for 10 minutes. When the cauliflower is soft pour it into a bowl, add the eggs, and blend it until you get a smooth mixture then add the potato starch and mix.
- Grease a tray with vegetable oil and pour the cauliflower in it.
- Cook the vegetables in a pan in vegetable oil and add salt, mint, and chili powder.
- Pour the cooked vegetables over the cauliflower and spread it evenly on the tray.
- Add the stringy cheese and parmesan on top and cook in the oven at 180°C for 30 minutes.
