Cauliflower gateau

This tasty recipe is a must-try recipe even if you're thinking cauliflower isn't for you!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1,5kg of cauliflower
  • 1,5l water
  • 8 grams of salt
  • 30 ml of milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 100g of potato starch
  • 30ml of vegetable oil
  • 1 onion
  • 5 mushrooms
  • 1 tomato
  • 3 chili peppers
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 1 carrot
  • 50ml of vegetable oil
  • 4g of mint
  • 8g of chili powder
  • 4g of salt
  • 250g of stringy cheese
  • 100g of parmesan

METHOD

  1. Boil the cauliflower in water with salt and milk for 10 minutes. When the cauliflower is soft pour it into a bowl, add the eggs, and blend it until you get a smooth mixture then add the potato starch and mix.
  2. Grease a tray with vegetable oil and pour the cauliflower in it.
  3. Cook the vegetables in a pan in vegetable oil and add salt, mint, and chili powder.
  4. Pour the cooked vegetables over the cauliflower and spread it evenly on the tray.
  5. Add the stringy cheese and parmesan on top and cook in the oven at 180°C for 30 minutes.
