Candied watermelon sticks

INGREDIENTS

  • 350g chopped watermelon
  • 500ml water (2 cups)
  • 250g sugar (1 cup)

METHOD

  1. In a pan add water and sugar, mix well and add chopped watermelon, cook on low heat for 40 minutes.
  2. Transfer watermelon to the oven rack and bake at 50°C (120°F ) for 2 hours. Dip into the sugar.
