Strawberry and hazelnut cream braid: fantastic for breakfast or snack!

INGREDIENTS

  • Puff pastry
  • Strawberries
  • Hazelnut cream
  • Almond slices
  • Powdered sugar

METHOD

  1. Place hazelnut cream in the middle third of a rectangular puff pastry. Add strawberry slices in an orderly fashion.
  2. Cut the two ends into horizontal strips and place a strip on each side to form a braid.
  3. Place on a baking tray. Brush with egg, decorate with almond slices, and bake for 15 minutes at 180ºC (356ºF).
  4. Decorate with powdered sugar.
