Ingredients

• 1 1/2 - 2 pounds ground beef
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 1 medium white onion, diced
• 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 cup beef broth
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
• Salt and Pepper to taste
• 1 (14.5 ounce) can corn, drained
• 1 (14.5 ounce can) green beans, drained
• 32 ounces frozen tater tots
• 2 cups cheddar cheese, to top

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef in a large saucepan over medium-high heat until browned, about 6-8 minutes. Add in onion and sauté until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add in 2 tablespoons butter and let fully melt before adding in flour. Stir until well mixed and let cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Pour in the beef broth, milk, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer. Add in corn and green beans. Stir occasionally until the sauce thickens.
  4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9x13 pan.
  5. Spread meat and vegetable mixture into the bottom of the pan. Top with a layer of frozen tater tots. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake in a 350 degree oven, uncovered, until cheese is warm and bubbly, about 25 minutes.
