Beer potatoes

How to make a delicious side dish at home!

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 medium potatoes, peeled;
  • salt to taste;
  • 60ml (ΒΌ cup) olive oil;
  • 120ml (Β½ cup) beer;
  • 30g (ΒΌ cup) breadcrumbs.

METHOD

  1. Cut potatoes into wedges.
  2. Place a medium pot of salted water over medium heat and add potatoes to it. Bring to a boil and cook for 10-15 minutes or until cooked halfway.
  3. Drain potatoes, transfer them onto a baking sheet, and pat dry with paper towels.
  4. Transfer dried potato wedges into a bowl and add olive oil. Add salt if needed. Stir to coat every potato wedge in oil.
  5. Spread potatoes in a baking pan and bake for 30 minutes at 200C/400F, stirring halfway through. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top and bake for additional 10-15 minutes or until golden and crispy.
