Vegan nuggets
INGREDIENTS
- 120g (1 β cup) chickpea flour;
- 40ml (3 tbsp) milk;
- β tsp smoked paprika;
- ΒΌ tsp salt;
- ΒΌ tsp garlic powder;
- 15ml (1 tbsp) oil;
- 50g (Β½ cup) breadcrumbs;
- 20g (Β½ cup) cornflakes.
METHOD
- In a medium bowl whisk chickpea flour with paprika, garlic, and salt. Pour in milk and oil. Knead until the dough comes together.
- Form nuggets shapes using chickpea dough.
- Break cornflakes into crumbs and mix them up with breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each nugget in crumbs and place them in preheated oil. Cook for 3-4 minutes from each side or until golden and crispy.
