Watermelon in a jar
INGREDIENTS
- Watermelon
- 1 tsp citric acid
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tsp sugar
- Hot water
METHOD
- Cut watermelon into several large chunks.
- Fill two glass jars with the pieces of watermelon. Fill with boiling water and let stand for 15 minutes.
- Strain the water. Add a tablespoon of sugar, citric acid, and a pinch of salt, and fill with water. Put the lids on. Store for up to 6 months.
