Sweet donuts
INGREDIENTS
- 500g (4 cups) of all-purpose flour
- 7g of dry yeast
- 25g (2 tbsp) of sugar Salt Lemon (zest)
- 1 egg 250ml (1 cup) of milk
- 15g (1 tbsp) of butter Corn oil
- Oil for frying
- Sugar
METHOD
- In a bowl with flour add the yeast, sugar, salt, lemon (zest), egg, and milk, and mix until the dough is created. Add the butter and knead until the dough is smooth.
- Add the corn oil to the dough and cover all sides. Cover with cling film and let it rise for 1 hour.
- After one hour roll out the dough and with the mold create the round shape. With a smaller mold prick the middle to create the donut shape.
- Transfer them to the baking tray covered with parchment paper, cover with a cloth and let them rise for 30 minutes.
- After time has elapsed fry the fritters in the hot oil until they are golden brown on both sides. Cover fritters with sugar and serve.
