Potato and ham fritters
These potato and ham fritters are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or snack that everyone will love.
Ingredients:
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and grated
- 1/2 cup diced cooked ham
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated potatoes, diced ham, chopped onion, flour, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Heat about 1/4 inch of vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
- Spoon the potato mixture into the hot oil, making small mounds about 2 inches in diameter.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the fritters from the pan and place them on paper towels to drain any excess oil.
- Serve the fritters hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
