- ½ cup black gram. Kala chana
- 1/3 cup whole wheat flour, roti ka atta, use as needed
- ½ inch ginger chopped
- 1 green chili chopped, adjust to taste
- ½ tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp asafetida, hing
- ½ tsp cumin seeds, jeera
- 3 tbsp oil for cooking
