Bell pepper fritters

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 egg
  • 200ml (4/5 cup) milk
  • 200ml (4/5 cup) lukewarm water
  • 10g dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 540g (4 1/3 cups) flour
  • 1 potato, chopped
  • 1 red pepper, chopped
  • 2 green peppers, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 80g mozzarella, chopped

METHOD

  1. In a bowl mix together milk, water, sugar, egg, and yeast. Add in flour and salt. Let rest for 1 hour, or until doubled size.
  2. Mix in chopped vegetables and mozzarella.
  3. Fry fritters in hot oil until golden brown.
