French toast

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 slices of sandwich bread
  • 4 Eggs
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • 120ml (1/2 cup) of milk
  • Cheese
  • Butter

METHOD

  1. Cut the bread into slices.
  2. Whisk milk with eggs, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Use a sharp knife to make a slit in a sandwich bread slice. Place a slice of cheese in a bread pocket.
  4. Soak bread slices in the egg mixture.
  5. Melt some butter over medium-low heat. Brown both sides of the toast and serve.
