Almonds and Chocolate Drop Cookies

Ingredients

Makes 12 cookies

  • 45g Unsalted butter
  • 30g Sugar
  • 20g Egg yolk
  • 15g Almond flour
  • 60g Cake flour 
  • 2g Salt
  • 15g Almonds
  • 30g Dark chocolate

Directions

Preparation: Preheat the oven to 338 °F/170℃.

Chop the almonds and chocolate.

①In a bowl, mix butter until softened.

②Add sugar, egg yolk and almond flour; mix well.

(Add egg yolk in three times.)

③Add the sifted flour and salt.

④Stir in chopped almonds and chocolate.

⑤Using 2 small spoons, drop about 1 teaspoon dough 3cm apart on baking tray.

⑥Bake in the oven at 338 °F/170℃ for 14 minutes, then bake at 320°F/ 160℃ for 5 minutes.

⑦cool on baking tray 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
