Bean cake


  • 450g (3 cups) beans
  • 3 eggs
  • 50ml olive oil
  • 100g yogurt
  • Salt
  • Hot red pepper
  • Mint
  • 150g feta cheese
  • Parsley
  • 100g cornmeal
  • 10g baking powder
  • Butter
  • Sesame


  1. Pour the beans into a strainer and pat dry.
  2. Place them in a bowl, add eggs, and olive oil, and blend well.
  3. Add yogurt, salt, hot red pepper, mint, and feta cheese, and mix well.
  4. Add parsley, cornmeal, and baking powder and mix again.
  5. Grease a baking tray with butter, sprinkle over sesame seeds, and pour in the mixture.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes at 170°C (338°F).
