Apple pastries

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 rolls of puff pastry
  • 1 apple
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Walnuts
  • Chocolate chips
  • Milk
  • Powdered sugar

METHOD

  1. Mix sugar with cinnamon in a bowl.
  2. Spread the sugar mixture on a piece of puff pastry, place baking paper on top, and flatten with a rolling pin.
  3. Grate the apple and spread it evenly over the puff pastry. Crush the walnuts and sprinkle them on top along with the chocolate chips.
  4. Place another sheet of puff pastry on top.
  5. Close the ends very well and cut into several squares.
  6. Place on a baking tray. Brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes at 180°C (356°F).
  8. Sprinkle with powdered sugar to serve.
