Rich mocha flavored chocolate cake

Ingredients

18 cm (7") square cake pan

  • 1 Egg 55g (room temperature)
  • 60g Sugar
  • 60g Milk
  • 80g Melted butter
  • 2g Instant coffee
  • 15g Hot Water
  • 90g Flour
  • 30g Almond powder
  • 15g Cocoa powder
  • 3g Baking powder
  • 50g Chocolate chips

For Topping:

  • Sliced almonds

Directions

Preparation: Preheat oven to 338 °F/170℃.

Line the cake pan with parchment paper.

①Dissolve instant coffee in hot water.

②Crack the eggs into a bowl and mix well.

③Add sugar and mix well for 3 minutes.

④Add soy milk, melted butter, and instant coffee, in that order, and mix well.

⑤ Sift flour, almond pudding, cocoa powder, and baking powder.

Mix well.

Finally, add chocolate chips and mix roughly.

⑥Pour it into the cake pan and flatten it.

Sprinkle sliced almonds on the top.

⑦Bake it at 320°F/ 160℃ for 18 mins.

⑧Take the cake off from the pan, Cool it down .

Divide it into 25 pieces.(Bite size)
