Witch fingers for Halloween
INGREDIENTS
- 100g butter
- 280g flour
- 100g powdered sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1 egg
- Skinned almonds
- Strawberry jam
METHOD
1. Pour the flour into a bowl, and add salt, icing sugar, and butter. Use your hands to crumble the butter and mix it with the rest of the ingredients.
2. Add an egg and mix very well until you get a smooth dough.
3. Divide the dough into 20-gram balls.
4. Flatten each ball into a roll.
5. Press your fingers into the roll and make two light cuts to make the shape and texture of a finger.
6. Fit an almond into one end to make the nail shape.
7. Place all the fingers on a baking tray.
8. Bake for 20 minutes at 180ºC (356ºF).
9. Remove the almond from each finger. Place a little strawberry jam and put the almond back. Also, smear a little jam on the other end of the finger.
