Chicken Soup

Preparing the Broth

  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 2 Dry Red Chillies
  • 2-inch Cinnamon Sticks
  • 3 Green Cardamom Pods
  • 1 tsp Black Peppercorns
  • 4-5 Garlic Cloves (sliced)
  • 2-inch Ginger (julienned)
  • 1 Onion (sliced)
  • 500 gms Chicken (curry cut)
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/4 cup Coriander Leaves & Stem
  • 1 ltr Water

Simmering the Broth

  • 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1 tbsp Black Pepper-Cumin Seeds Powder
  • 1 tsp Fennel Seeds Powder
  • Salt (as required)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Cream
  • 1/2 Boiled Egg (for garnish)
