Kashmiri Mutton Yakhni Ingredients:

  • Preparing the Stock
  • 800 gms Mutton
  • 1 ltr Water
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 2 Black Cardamom
  • 1-inch Cinnamon Stick
  • 10 Black Peppercorns
  • 6 Cloves
  • 6 Garlic Cloves (chopped)
  • 1-inch Ginger (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger Powder
  • 2 tsp Fennel Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
  • Salt (as required)
  • Cooking the Meat
  • 3 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 kg Yogurt
  • 2 Black Cardamom
  • 2 cups Mutton Stock
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Dry Mint Leaves
  • Salt (as required)
