Zebra bread


  • 550g (4 3/8 cups) flour
  • 1 egg
  • 70g (1/3 cup) sugar
  • 250ml (1 cup) milk
  • 5g dry yeast
  • 60g butter
  • 10g salt
  • 30g cocoa powder
  • 30ml milk (if needed)


1. In a bowl mix together milk with sugar and yeast, and add in egg, butter, flour, and salt.

2. Divide the dough into two pieces and add cocoa powder to the second. Let the dough rise for 30 minutes.

3. Roll out the dough and top with dark dough. Roll it and transfer it to the baking pan. Bake at 180°C (360°F) for 35 minutes.
