Pecan Pie

The Best Ever Pecan Pie has the perfect balance of sweet and salty, with just the right amount of crunch from those delicious pecans. It is a holiday favorite that you don’t want to miss out on!

Ingredients

• 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
• ½ cup salted butter
• 1 cup corn syrup
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 4 large eggs, beaten
• 1 ½ cups pecans, halves or chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
  • Once melted, add corn syrup, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt. Stir to combine until everything if fully melted.
  • Remove from heat and whisk in eggs and stir in pecans.
  • IPour the mixture into a 9-inch uncooked pie shell.
  • Bake for 55 minutes in the preheated 325 degree oven, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Serve with either whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
