Fried Fish Skin Charcuterie Plate

Fried Fish Skin Charcuterie Plate

Charcuterie is a French term for a fancy plate of prepared meat. Modern charcuterie often includes a variety of cheeses, pickled foods, crackers, and sliced veggies; you'll generally find a charcuterie plate offered as an appetizer or wine accompaniment. In a restaurant, charcuterie is usually very expensive for what you get, so it’s not all that appealing for a cheapskate like me; but making a charcuterie plate at home is not pricey at all, and it’s a nice treat, and the perfect excuse to unscrew a classy bottle of wine.
