Classic Waldorf Salad
Crunchy apples and celery, juicy grapes, and rich walnuts come together to form this classic Waldorf salad. Itβs comforting, easy to make, and oh-so refreshing β no wonder itβs been such a popular salad for over 100 years!
Ingredients
β’ 2 cups granny smith apples diced, about 2 apples
β’ 1 tablespoon lemon juice
β’ 1/4 cup granulated sugar
β’ 1 cup red grapes halved
β’ 1 cup celery diced
β’ 1/2 cup walnuts chopped and toasted
β’ 1/2 cup greek yogurt
β’ 1/4 cup mayonnaise
β’ 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Dice apples into bite size pieces, about 1/2" cubes. Place in a large bowl, drizzle lemon juice, and sprinkle sugar over the apples. Toss to make sure all is coated.
- Halve grapes and add to the apples. Dice celery and add to the bowl along with walnuts.
- In a small mixing bowl add greek yogurt, mayonnaise, and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the sauce over chopped ingredients and toss to coat thoroughly.
