English muffins


  • 300g (2 ½ cups) flour
  • 5g (1 tsp) sugar
  • 5g (1 tsp) salt
  • 5g (1 tsp) dry yeast
  • 1 egg
  • 150ml (3/5 cup) milk
  • 15g (1 tbsp) butter
  • Corn flour


1. Pour flour, sugar, salt, dry yeast, egg, and milk into a mixing bowl. Knead with a mixer. Add butter and continue mixing. Let the dough rise for 60 minutes.

2. Divide the dough into 6 balls and let it rise for another 20 minutes.

3. Dust the balls with corn flour and let them stand for another 45 minutes.

4. Fry the muffins in a pan with a little olive oil. Serve.
