Full written recipe for Home-style green chutney

Ingredients:

  • FRESH CORIANDER 1 CUP
  • MINT 1/2 CUP
  • GREEN CHILLI 3-4 NOS.
  • GARLIC 3-4 CLOVES
  • GINGER 1 INCH
  • ONION 1/2 NO.
  • ROASTED CHANA DAL 1/2 TBSP
  • SUGAR A PINCH
  • SALT TO TASTE
  • CUMIN POWDER A PINCH
  • CHAAT MASALA A PINCH
  • BLACK SALT A PINCH
  • DRY MANGO POWDER 1 TSP
  • ICE CUBE 1 NO.
  • WATER AS REQUIRED

Method:

  1. Add all the ingredients of the chutney into a mixer grinder jar & grind it into a fine paste.
  2. Your home-style green chutney is ready.
  3. Restaurant style green chutney

Ingredients:

  • FRESH CORIANDER 1/2 CUP
  • MINT 1/2 CUP
  • GREEN CHILLI 2 NOS.
  • GINGER 1/2 INCH
  • GARLIC 2-3 CLOVES
  • ROASTED CHANA DAL 1/2 TBSP
  • SUGAR 1/2 TSP
  • SALT TO TASTE
  • CHAAT MASALA A PINCH
  • BLACK SALT A PINCH (CHEAT)
  • CUMIN POWDER A PINCH
  • LEMON JUICE 1/2 TSP
  • CURD 1/4 CUP (FOR PASTE)
  • ICE CUBE 1 NO.
  • CURD 1 CUP

Method:

  1. Add all the ingredients of the chutney into a mixer grinder jar and grind them into a fine paste.
  2. Further add the curd into a separate bowl & add the prepared green paste into the curd & mix well.
  3. Your restaurant style green chutney is ready, serve alongside kebabs & other Indian starters/appetizers.

Sandwich chutney

Ingredients:

  • FRESH CORIANDER 2 CUPS
  • GREEN CHILLIES 10-12 NO.
  • GARLIC 7-8 CLOVES
  • CURRY LEAVES 8-10 NOS
  • SPINACH 3-4 LEAVES (BLANCHED)
  • SANDWICH MASALA / CHAAT MASALA A LARGE PINCH
  • SALT TO TASTE
  • BREAD 1 SLICE
  • ICE CUBE 1 NOS.
  • WATER AS REQUIRED

Method:

  1. Add all the ingredients of the chutney into a mixer grinder jar & grind it into a fine chutney.
  2. Your street style spicy sandwich chutney is ready.

Vrat Waali Chutney

Ingredients:

  • FRESH CORIANDER 1 CUP
  • GREEN CHILLIES 4-5 NOS.
  • GINGER 1 INCH
  • PEANUTS 1 TBSP
  • CURD 3 TBSP
  • CUMIN SEEDS 1/4 TSP
  • LEMON JUICE 1 TSP
  • SENDHA SALT TO TASTE
  • SUGAR 1 TBSP
  • ICE CUBE 1 NO.
  • WATER AS REQUIRED

Method:

  1. Add all the ingredients of the chutney into a mixer grinder jar & grind it into a fine chutney.
  2. Your vrat waali chutney is ready, serve it alongside fasting dishes like sabudana vada, farali pattice.

Coconut chutney

Ingredients:

  • COCONUT 1 CUP (DESICCATED)
  • ROASTED CHANA DAL 1/3 CUP
  • FRESH CORIANDER 1/2 CUP
  • GREEN CHILLI 2 NOS.
  • CUMIN POWDER A PINCH
  • BLACK PEPPER POWDER A PINCH
  • SALT TO TASTE
  • ICE CUBE 1 NO.
  • WATER AS REQUIRED

For tempering

  • OIL 2 TBSP
  • URAD DAL 1/2 TSP
  • CHANA DAL 1/2 TSP
  • RED CHILLI 2-3 NOS.
  • MUSTARD SEEDS 1/2 TSP
  • CURRY LEAVES 6-8 NOS.

Method:

  1. Add the coconut, roasted chana dal, fresh coriander & the remaining ingredients into a mixer grinder jar & grind it into a fine paste.
  2. Transfer the coconut chutney into a bowl & set a pan on high flame, add the oil, once the oil gets hot add in the urad & chana dal, fry them in the oil for a few seconds & then add red chillies, mustard seeds, curry leaves.
  3. Further pour the tadka immediately over the coconut chutney & stir well.
  4. Your coconut chutney is ready.

Sanjyot Keers Style green chutney

Ingredients:

  • FRESH CORIANDER 1 CUP
  • MINT 1 CUP
  • SPRING ONION GREENS A HANDFUL
  • ONION 1 NO. MEDIUM SIZE
  • GARLIC 8-10 CLOVES
  • GINGER 1 INCH
  • GREEN CHILLIES 5-6 NOS.
  • TAMARIND A LEMON SIZED BALL
  • JAGGERY 1 TBSP
  • SALT TO TASTE
  • CHAAT MASALA A PINCH
  • CUMIN POWDER A PINCH
  • BLACK SALT A PINCH
  • ICE CUBE 1 NO.
  • WATER AS REQUIRED
