Fried floral potatoes with homemade mayonnaise
INGREDIENTS
- Potatoes
- Water
- Salt
- Flour
- Oil for frying
For the mayonnaise:
- 1 egg
- Basil
- Salt
- Lemon juice
- 200ml vegetable oil
METHOD
1. Peel the potato. Cut into a uniform rectangle.
2. Place two chopsticks on the sides of the potato and cut it into a grid. Use the chopsticks to avoid making the cut to the bottom end.
3. Place the potatoes in salted water and let soak for 15 minutes.
4. Coat each potato with flour and fry until golden brown.
5. Blend basil and an egg. Add salt, lemon juice, and oil little by little until you get mayonnaise.
