Colored cake
INGREDIENTS
- 200ml (4/5 cup) of milk
- 330g (2 5/8 cups) of rice flour
- 100ml (2/5 cup) of vegetable oil
- 200g (1 cup) of sugar
- 3 eggs
- 14g of baking powder
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 50g of dry milk
- 50g of cocoa powder
- 60g of cocoa powder
- 100g (1/2 cup)of sugar
- 2 tsp of corn flour
- 1/3 tsp of salt
- 250ml (1 cup) of milk
- 1 tbsp of butter
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
METHOD
1. In a bowl mix together eggs, sugar, and oil, sift in flour and baking powder and add milk.
2. Divide the dough into 2 portions and add milk powder to the first and cocoa powder to the second.
3. Transfer mixtures one by one to the baking pan, make a pattern and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 40 minutes.
4. In the pan combine all dry ingredients, add milk and transfer to low heat, cook until starts thick add vanilla extract and butter, and pour onto the cake.
