Pastry heart with camembert

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 puff pastry
  • 1 camembert
  • 50g crème fraîche
  • Ham slices
  • Parsley
  • 1 egg yolk

METHOD

1. Mix the crème fraîche with parsley and salt.

2. Cut the puff pastry into heart shapes.

3. Place a Camembert cheese in the middle of the heart Spread the cream mixture with parsley on the dough.

4. Add slices of ham around the cheese.

5. Place the other heart dough on top. Press down the edges of the dough and around the cheese.

6. Make several cuts from the cheese towards the edge of the dough and twist them.

7. Cover the whole heart with the egg yolk.

8. Bake for 20 minutes at 180ºC (356ºF).

9. Remove the top of the cheese.
