Sesame Bread Toast is a simple and delicious snack made by toasting bread slices with a flavorful sesame seed topping. It's a quick and easy recipe that can be enjoyed for breakfast, as a tea-time snack, or even as an appetizer. Here's how you can make Sesame Bread Toast:

Ingredients:

  • Bread slices (white, brown, or whole wheat)
  • Butter or ghee (clarified butter), softened
  • White sesame seeds
  • Black sesame seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped fresh coriander leaves (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). If you don't have an oven, you can also make this recipe on a stovetop using a griddle or a non-stick pan.
  2. Spread a thin layer of softened butter or ghee on one side of each bread slice.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together white sesame seeds, black sesame seeds, and a pinch of salt. You can adjust the quantity of sesame seeds according to your preference.
  4. Take a bread slice with the buttered side facing up and press it gently onto the sesame seed mixture. Make sure the seeds stick to the bread.
  5. Repeat the same process for the remaining bread slices, ensuring that the sesame seed mixture is evenly coated on the buttered side of each slice.
  6. Place the sesame-coated bread slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or directly on a greased baking tray.
  7. Bake the bread slices in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes or until they turn golden brown and crispy. If using a stovetop, toast the bread slices on a griddle or non-stick pan until they are toasted on both sides.
  8. Once the Sesame Bread Toast is ready, you can optionally garnish it with some chopped fresh coriander leaves for added freshness.
  9. Serve the Sesame Bread Toast hot as a snack or appetizer. It goes well with a cup of tea or as an accompaniment to soups and salads.

Enjoy the crispy and nutty flavor of Sesame Bread Toast!
