Sesame Bread Toast at home
Sesame Bread Toast is a simple and delicious snack made by toasting bread slices with a flavorful sesame seed topping. It's a quick and easy recipe that can be enjoyed for breakfast, as a tea-time snack, or even as an appetizer. Here's how you can make Sesame Bread Toast:
Ingredients:
- Bread slices (white, brown, or whole wheat)
- Butter or ghee (clarified butter), softened
- White sesame seeds
- Black sesame seeds
- Salt to taste
- Chopped fresh coriander leaves (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). If you don't have an oven, you can also make this recipe on a stovetop using a griddle or a non-stick pan.
- Spread a thin layer of softened butter or ghee on one side of each bread slice.
- In a small bowl, mix together white sesame seeds, black sesame seeds, and a pinch of salt. You can adjust the quantity of sesame seeds according to your preference.
- Take a bread slice with the buttered side facing up and press it gently onto the sesame seed mixture. Make sure the seeds stick to the bread.
- Repeat the same process for the remaining bread slices, ensuring that the sesame seed mixture is evenly coated on the buttered side of each slice.
- Place the sesame-coated bread slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or directly on a greased baking tray.
- Bake the bread slices in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes or until they turn golden brown and crispy. If using a stovetop, toast the bread slices on a griddle or non-stick pan until they are toasted on both sides.
