Fritters

You won't be able to stop at one!

INGREDIENTS

  • 240ml (1 cup) of water
  • 7g of fresh yeast
  • 20g (1 1/2 tbsp) of sugar
  • 240g (2 cups) of flour
  • Oil for frying
  • 200g (1/2 cup) of honey
  • Lemon (zest)
  • Tangerine (zest)
  • 30g of anise
  • Colorful sprinkles

METHOD

1. In a bowl add the water, yeast, and sugar and mix until with sugar and yeast dissolve.

2. Add the flour and mix with the spoon to obtain a mixture without lumps. Cover with cling film and let it rise for 3 hours.

3. After three hours take the batter with the spoon and fry until the fritters are golden brown.

4. In a pot add the honey, lemon (zest), and tangerine (zest) to the pot and stir until it boils. Remove from the heat and stir in the anise. Transfer to a bowl.

5. Dip the fritters in the glaze and stir until they are well coated with the glaze.

6. Transfer them to the plate, sprinkle them with colorful sprinkles and serve.
