Chocolate Snickerdoodles
Chocolate snickerdoodles are a warm and cozy twist on the classic. My recipe makes soft and thick cookies with NO mixer and NO chilling!
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted (226g)
- ¼ cup natural cocoa powder (25g)
- 1 cup granulated sugar (200g)
- ½ cup light brown sugar, firmly packed (100g)
- 1 large egg + 1 large egg yolk, room temperature preferred
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
For rolling:
- ½ cup granulated sugar (50g)
- 1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
