Christmas Treats
INGREDIENTS
- 250g of Dark chocolate
- 200g of Milk chocolate
- 200g (1 cup) of Butter
- 50ml (1/2 cup) of Golden syrup
- 100g of Biscuits
- 75g of Mini marshmallows
- 200g of Maltesers
METHOD
1. Add dark and milk chocolate, butter, and golden syrup in a saucepan and melt together on low heat, stirring together as it melts. Once melted and combined, remove from the heat and leave to cool for 10 minutes.
2. In a mixing bowl pour the crushed biscuits, mini marshmallows, and Maltesers and mix. Pour about two-thirds of the chocolate mixture into the mixing bowl and stir to fully coat the fillings with chocolate.
3. Pour the mixture into the lined pan (20x20cm pan size) with parchment paper and level it up with the spatula. Pour the remaining chocolate and level it up well.
4. Add the Maltesers on top to decorate the surface. Transfer to the fridge overnight, or for 4 hours to firm.
5. After time has elapsed remove from the pan and transfer to the cutting board. Cut on cubes and serve them all together.
