Air fryer buns


  • 600g (4 3/4 cups) flour
  • 350ml (1 1/2 cups) water
  • 15g (2 1/2 tsp) fine salt
  • 25ml (2 tbsp) olive oil
  • 12g fresh yeast (or 5g dry yeast)


1. In a jug with water add the yeast, and oil and mix.

2. In a bowl, mix flour with salt and pour the water and yeast mixture.

3. Mix very well for 10 minutes. Form a ball with the dough, and pour a little oil on the edges of the bowl and bread.

4. Cover and let it rise for 2 hours or until doubled in size.

5. Form a strip with the dough. Cut into 12 pieces. Massage each piece and form a ball.

6. Place on a tray, and make 3 cuts in each ball. Sprinkle flour on each. Cover and let stand for 30 minutes – 1 hour.

7. Bake for 25 minutes at 160°C (320°F).
