Crab & Shrimp Spinach Dip
Crab and shrimp spinach dip is a creamy and flavorful appetizer that combines the sweetness of seafood with the richness of cream cheese and the freshness of spinach. Ingredients:
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Gruyere cheese (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (scallions)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning (or seafood seasoning)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup cooked crab meat, chopped
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
- 1 cup chopped fresh spinach
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish or oven-safe skillet and set it aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, grated Parmesan cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Gruyere cheese (if using), chopped green onions, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Fold in the chopped crab meat, cooked shrimp, and chopped fresh spinach. Make sure the seafood and spinach are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish or skillet, spreading it out into an even layer.
