Coca-cola Cake Idea

Make everything in your house a kitchen gadget, it could be a bottle, eggshells or even plastic wraps. With some creativity you can make your whole desserts become more interesting.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup Coca-Cola
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Frosting:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 6 tablespoons Coca-Cola
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- Combine Dry Ingredients:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar.
- In a Saucepan:
- In a saucepan, bring butter, Coca-Cola, and cocoa powder to a boil. Pour over the flour and sugar mixture.
- Add Remaining Ingredients:
- Add buttermilk, eggs, baking soda, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- Bake:
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Make Frosting:
- While the cake is baking, prepare the frosting. In a saucepan, bring butter, cocoa powder, and Coca-Cola to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and chopped pecans.
- Frost the Cake:
- Once the cake is done baking, immediately pour the warm frosting over the hot cake.
- Cool and Serve:
- Allow the cake to cool before slicing and serving.
- Optional:
- You can sprinkle additional chopped pecans on top for decoration.
