Coca-cola Cake Idea

Make everything in your house a kitchen gadget, it could be a bottle, eggshells or even plastic wraps. With some creativity you can make your whole desserts become more interesting.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Coca-Cola
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Frosting:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 6 tablespoons Coca-Cola
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. Combine Dry Ingredients:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar.
  3. In a Saucepan:
    • In a saucepan, bring butter, Coca-Cola, and cocoa powder to a boil. Pour over the flour and sugar mixture.
  4. Add Remaining Ingredients:
    • Add buttermilk, eggs, baking soda, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  5. Bake:
    • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Make Frosting:
    • While the cake is baking, prepare the frosting. In a saucepan, bring butter, cocoa powder, and Coca-Cola to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and chopped pecans.
  7. Frost the Cake:
    • Once the cake is done baking, immediately pour the warm frosting over the hot cake.
  8. Cool and Serve:
    • Allow the cake to cool before slicing and serving.
  9. Optional:
    • You can sprinkle additional chopped pecans on top for decoration.
