Ingredients
French Toast:
- 2 cups milk
- 5 large eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup rum
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 16 thick slices of Challah Brioche, or Texas Toast
Rum Sauce:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of nutmeg
- 3 bananas sliced into coins
- 1/2 cup rum
- 1/4 cup walnuts or pecans optional
