Chicken wings: how to make them golden in just a few steps

  • 2 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 medium white onion, sliced
  • 60ml (¼ cup) white wine
  • 120ml (½ cup) chicken stock
  • 30ml (2 tbsp) olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds chicken wings, tips removed, and wings cut into flats and drumettes
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce (such as Frank's RedHot)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and place them in a large bowl. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the wings and toss until the wings are evenly coated.
