Yogurt buns in a pan


  • 500g (4 cups) of all-purpose flour
  • 240g (¾ cup) of yogurt
  • 220ml (¾ cup) of water
  • 10g (1 tbsp) of baking powder
  • 3g (1 tsp) of salt
  • 15ml (1 tbsp) of vegetable oil


1. In a large bowl whisk yogurt with water, vegetable oil, and salt. Add flour and knead the dough until it becomes smooth.

2. Grease your hands with vegetable oil and form the dough into a ball. Set aside for 10-20 minutes.

3. Cut the dough into 10 portions and roll each into a ball. Set aside for 10 minutes then roll out.

4. Cook the flatbread on both sides until it puffs up. Transfer onto a plate and brush with oil or butter.
