Ingredients:

  • 2 cups plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup sugar (adjust according to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup milk

Optional toppings:

  • Fresh fruits (such as berries or sliced fruits)
  • Nuts or granola
  • Honey or maple syrup

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the yogurt, sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined. Set aside.
  2. In a separate saucepan, whisk together the cornstarch and milk until the cornstarch is fully dissolved and there are no lumps.
  3. Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook the mixture, stirring constantly, until it thickens and comes to a gentle boil. This should take about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool slightly for a few minutes.
  5. Gradually pour the milk mixture into the bowl with the yogurt mixture, stirring continuously until well combined and smooth.
  6. Divide the yogurt pudding mixture into individual serving dishes or glasses.
  7. Cover the dishes with plastic wrap or lids and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours, or until the pudding sets and becomes firm.
  8. Once the yogurt pudding is chilled and set, you can top it with your preferred toppings, such as fresh fruits, nuts, granola, or a drizzle of honey or maple syrup.
  9. Serve the yogurt pudding chilled and enjoy its creamy and tangy flavor.
