Best Shepherds Pie Recipe - Easy Homemade Shepherds Pie
Ingredients
- Ground beef or lamb ( i used about 1.2 lbs)
- olive oil
- 1 medium onion
- 1 large red bell pepper
- 2 large carrots
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbs tomato paste
- 1 Tbs better than bouillon roasted beef base
- 1/2 cup sweet peas
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
- cheddar or your favorite cheese ( use as much as you want)
- Mashed potatoes (use just enough to fill top of meat, about 2 to 3 cups)
