Puff pastry apple tart
INGREDIENTS
- 4-5 apples
- 1 roll of puff pastry
- 30g (2 tbsp) of cold butter
- 50g (3 tbsp) of sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 60g (3 tbsp) of apricot jam
METHOD
1. Peel, core, and slice the apples thinly.
2. Make a cut ⅔ way deep into the puff pastry following the perimeter 2 cm from the edge.
3. Layer apple slices on top of the dough.
4. Mix sugar with cinnamon. Sprinkle on top of the apples.
5. Brush the apples with warm apricot jam and finally top them with some cold butter.
6. Bake for 25 minutes at 180°C/350°F.
