Air fryer donuts

INGREDIENTS

  • 130ml (1/2 cup)of lukewarm water
  • 130ml (1/2 cup) of milk
  • 1 egg
  • 5g of dry yeast
  • 40g (2 2/5 tbsp) of sugar
  • 8g of salt
  • 500g (4 cups) of flour
  • 50g (1/4 cup) of butter
  • Lemon zest
  • Orange zest
  • Sugar
  • Melted butter

METHOD

1. Pour water into a bowl, and add milk, sugar, yeast, egg, orange zest, and lemon zest while continuing to mix.

2. Gradually add the flour, and continue mixing.

3. Use the massage hooks and beat for 4 minutes.

4. Massage the mixture until it forms a ball, place it in a bowl, and let it rise for 2 hours.

5. Flatten the dough and cut several donuts.

6. Place on a baking tray and let rest for 40 minutes.

7. Air fry several donuts and cook at 200°C (392°F) for 8 minutes, turning over halfway through.

8. Spread melted butter on top of each donut and top with sugar.
