How to make fluffy and soft eggless buns with mashed potatoes that gives extra fluffiness to the dough, without using stand mixer!!

INGREDIENTS:

Makes 6 buns:

Dough:

  • 240 g (2 cups) all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 13 g (1 tbsp) sugar
  • 4 g (1 tsp) instant dry yeast or active dry yeast
  • 65 g (1/3 cup) mashed potatoes
  • 35 g (2+1/2 tbsp) unsalted butter, melted
  • 120-130 g (1/2 cup + 1 tsp) milk, lukewarm

Topping:

  • 13 g (1+1/2 tbsp) all purpose flour
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 120 g (1/2 cup) milk, warm
  • 1/8 tsp turmeric powder (optional)
