Potato Buns
How to make fluffy and soft eggless buns with mashed potatoes that gives extra fluffiness to the dough, without using stand mixer!!
INGREDIENTS:
Makes 6 buns:
Dough:
- 240 g (2 cups) all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 13 g (1 tbsp) sugar
- 4 g (1 tsp) instant dry yeast or active dry yeast
- 65 g (1/3 cup) mashed potatoes
- 35 g (2+1/2 tbsp) unsalted butter, melted
- 120-130 g (1/2 cup + 1 tsp) milk, lukewarm
Topping:
- 13 g (1+1/2 tbsp) all purpose flour
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 120 g (1/2 cup) milk, warm
- 1/8 tsp turmeric powder (optional)
