Brownie Cookies
Brownie cookies are a rich and decadent treat that combines the best of both worlds: crispy cookies and fudgy brownies. Here's a simple recipe you can try:
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar.
- Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until well combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers are slightly soft.
- Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
