This Instant Pot Mac and Cheese is so quick and easy to make – plus it tastes amazing! The sauce is cheesy, creamy perfection!

Simple and delicious Instant Pot Mac and Cheese recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 cups milk
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions:

  1. Add the macaroni, water, butter, garlic powder, onion powder, ground mustard, salt, and black pepper to the Instant Pot.
  2. Stir to combine and ensure all the macaroni is submerged in the water.
  3. Close the Instant Pot lid and set the valve to the "sealing" position.
  4. Cook on high pressure for 4 minutes.
  5. Once the cooking time is complete, do a quick release of the pressure by carefully turning the valve to the "venting" position.
  6. Once the pressure has fully released and the lid unlocks, open the Instant Pot and stir in the milk and shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Continue to stir until the cheese has fully melted and the mac and cheese is creamy and smooth.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Instant Pot mac and cheese!
