Simple and delicious Instant Pot Mac and Cheese recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 4 cups water
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 cups milk
- 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions:
- Add the macaroni, water, butter, garlic powder, onion powder, ground mustard, salt, and black pepper to the Instant Pot.
- Stir to combine and ensure all the macaroni is submerged in the water.
- Close the Instant Pot lid and set the valve to the "sealing" position.
- Cook on high pressure for 4 minutes.
- Once the cooking time is complete, do a quick release of the pressure by carefully turning the valve to the "venting" position.
- Once the pressure has fully released and the lid unlocks, open the Instant Pot and stir in the milk and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Continue to stir until the cheese has fully melted and the mac and cheese is creamy and smooth.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Instant Pot mac and cheese!
