Artichoke Frittata Recipe
Artichoke frittata is a tasty and healthy dish that is perfect for breakfast, brunch or any meal of the day. Here's a recipe to make it at home:
Ingredients:
- 8 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
- Add the onion to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes or until it is softened and translucent.
- Add the chopped artichoke hearts to the skillet and sauté for another 2-3 minutes or until they are slightly browned.
- Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and stir gently to combine with the onions and artichokes.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the egg mixture.
- Bake the frittata in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until it is golden brown and set.
- Remove the frittata from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Slice the frittata into wedges and serve hot.
